IDSS Begins New Research Cycle on Delta Adaptation

A new multi-year research cycle brings together universities, NGOs and local government to study tidal river management and climate adaptation across the delta.
The Institute of Development Studies and Sustainability has begun a new multi-year research cycle focused on delta adaptation, bringing together partner universities, national and international NGOs, and local government bodies.
The cycle will study tidal river management, embankment operation and salinity intrusion across selected sites in Khulna, Satkhira and Patuakhali. Findings will feed directly into planning discussions on the Bangladesh Delta Plan 2100.
IDSS will publish field notes, policy briefs and datasets from the cycle as they become available.
